Forbes: Ataberk Arman Kayhan took away one big lesson from his master's in artificial intelligence from Istanbul Technical University: Data labeling was a huge headache for AI startups. Kayhan teamed up with college friend Mert Menekşe in 2021 to help solve that problem with their own startup Co-One which now works with over 9,000 freelance data labelers that help sift and categorize photos and videos for startups, e-commerce, and healthcare companies. The now Tallinn, Estonia-based startup raised $700,000 in a January 2023 seed round from Turkish venture capitalists Leap Investments and Lima Ventures.
